Finding the Right Skyline Part For 2064075X

Since around 2017, Cummins DOCs and DPFs have been marked with a number that begins with "20" and ends with "X" or "XS", along with an adjacent QR code. This is not a Cummins part number -- when you enter it into parts.cummins.com, you will get a "No results were found" message. Despite this non-connection to the Cummins parts list, the "X" and "XS" numbers are frequently entered into Skyline websites, most likely because they are the largest and most legible numbers on the road-worn Cummins part that needs to be replaced.

In most cases the "X" and "XS" numbers has a connection to just one Cummins part number. But one exception is Cummins part numbers 4394579 and 5506859, which share the 2064075X marking, as shown below. And so if you enter 2064075X into the Skyline search tool, you will get four DPFs in the results: BJ0710-M, BJ0710-C, BJ0720-M, BJ0720-C.

BJ0710 and BJ0720 are identical except for one feature: BJ0720 has a standoff to keep wiring away from hot surfaces near the FLOW arrow and sensor ports. The images below show the difference.

In summary, if the only part number you can read is 2064075X, look for a standoff near the sensor ports.

  • No standoff = BJ0710
  • One standoff = BJ0720
